Briefly introduce the thermal insulation performance of the shell of the color steel plate box type

source:m.czdmad.com  |  Release time:2025年09月29日
The thermal insulation performance of the shell of the color steel plate box type substation mainly depends on the layered structure design of the composite color steel plate. Through core material insulation and structural optimization, temperature protection of the internal equipment of the substation is achieved, and it is suitable for outdoor high and low temperature environments.
There are two core implementation paths for its thermal insulation performance:
1. Thermal insulation effect of composite core material: sandwich color steel plate is mostly used for shell, and polyurethane foam, rock wool, glass wool, etc. are commonly used as core materials. These core materials are of porous or fiber structure inside, which can effectively block air convection and heat conduction. Among them, polyurethane foam has low thermal conductivity (≤ 0.024W/(m ? K)), good thermal insulation effect, and can reduce external heat transfer in summer and internal heat loss in winter.
2. Structural and detail optimization: The shell joints are sealed with sealing strips to prevent air leakage from gaps and thermal insulation failure; Part of the shell will also be equipped with reflective film on the inside of the color steel plate to reflect solar radiation heat, further reducing the surface temperature of the shell in summer and reducing heat transfer to the inside of the transformer.
Overall, the casing can control the internal temperature of the transformer within the suitable operating range of the equipment (usually -25 ℃~40 ℃), avoiding the impact of extreme external temperatures on equipment life or failure, and meeting the basic insulation requirements of outdoor substations.
